My wife and I were lucky enough to have Laura DJ at our wedding in May of 2025. It’s a bit of a cliché, but people often say they wish they spent more time at their wedding talking to guests. That rings true for us too, but only because we couldn’t stay off the dance floor! Despite having to balance two very different music tastes, Laura curated the perfect set. It's something our friends and family still bring up every time we reminisce about the day. Beyond absolutely smashing the music, Laura was a joy to work with. Before the wedding, we had a kick-off call that left us feeling totally reassured and excited. On the day, she was the consummate professional - handling a slightly tricky load-in and nailing every key moment, from the first dance onward. She even went above and beyond by capturing some behind-the-decks video footage, which beautifully captured the atmosphere of the evening. It's something we’ll always treasure. We hired an incredible DJ (Emma 'the Baroness') via SpinSisters for a birthday event - the process was smooth, and the team very helpful. Emma was a dream to work with, understood exactly what was needed (and shared my taste in music, which was a huge bonus) - on the night she got everyone dancing for hours, and they all told me how awesome the music was and that they didn't want to leave. Laura DJd at my Wedding on a barge here in Maldon and she made sure we had the best time. She listened to all our requests and everyone was up dancing right from the first dance until the last. Starting with some classics that started the disco dance scene in the 70s to my favourites from here and now - it was great! So much fun! She read the crowd and made sure it was such a memorable night for us. When I hear some of those tracks now I am transported back to my Wedding Day full of such joy and love. Janice & Lorraine from Spin Sisters were our DJs for our wedding and we couldn’t recommend them enough. Laura DJ’d our wedding, with abi rose as the saxophonist, and both killed it. Everyone has commented since how good the music was - and also a perfect mix of crowd pleasers and more of the disco/funk/soul we love and had discussed. Communication was great and both were also really good fun - made us feel relaxed in the build up. Couldn’t recommend enough.

We got in touch with Laura to book a DJ for our wedding, she was incredibly quick to get back to us and listen to all our needs and quickly put us in touch with Chloe. Chloe was superb, always on hand before our event, extremely helpful and incredibly positive, she listed to what we wanted and totally surpassed expectations on the night - the dance floor was full from start to finish. We were really impressed with everything and there was absolutely no stress at all on the day or in the lead up!

I had seen lots of videos of SpinSisters on social media and was really excited to meet Laura and see if she could DJ at our wedding - she did not disappoint! Laura was so helpful from the outset and completely got what we were looking for. It was such an important part of the day for us (I love having a dance) and she kept the dancefloor full ALL NIGHT. The venue said they never see it that full til the end. I also wanted a sax player and Laura gave me lots of great recommendations which was really helpful. The night exceeded all of our expectations and we got so many "What a party!" comments/messages the next day. Thank you so much Laura!

We loved having Laura DJ our wedding! Getting the music right at the reception was very important to me as my friends and I LOVE a dance. Laura was super friendly and helpful and I felt confident right from the get go. In the run up to the wedding I enjoyed having the chance to submit my "must plays" and answer a music questionnaire before having a video call with Laura to get in to the details. And then on the wedding day itself she was amazing... the music mix was perfect - everything from 90s house and R&B to full on wedding bangers. The dancefloor stayed packed all night and everyone remarked on how awesome our DJ was! I would heartily recommend her to anyone looking to make their wedding or party go with a swing.

Chloe Fontaine was our DJ from Spin Sisters for our wedding and she was fantastic. We had a great experience from booking through to the day! We had a few chats beforehand and gave examples of the music we like but we had total faith she would read the room and pick some fun tunes, and she did. Totally recommend!

I had the pleasure of organise The annual Winter Ball UKHAssociation last December, and I cannot recommend Lorraine and Janice highly enough! They were absolutely brilliant and fantastic! The ladies truly rocked the event, keeping 300 members dancing the entire evening. At times, guests requested Latino songs, and they happily accommodated those requests, making the night even more special. Their energy and talent were truly impressive! If you're looking for a phenomenal musical duo, look no further!

Danielle (@missdjdeed) from SpinSisters was the perfect DJ for our wedding. From our first call, it was clear she understood the kind of music we wanted and the atmosphere we hoped to create. She took the time to listen to our preferences and made sure the playlist was exactly what we envisioned. Danielle was so positive and genuinely invested in making sure everyone had a great time. It was almost like having a close friend behind the decks who knew exactly what would keep everyone on the dance floor. We also appreciated how much thought she put into the final songs of the night. We had an idea of how we wanted to wrap things up but weren’t sure about the specific tracks. Danielle gave us some great suggestions that made the night finish on a high. The booking process was easy and smooth, thanks to Laura, the company director. Everything was handled professionally, making the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. As a nice bonus, Danielle took some great videos during the event and shared them with us afterward. It was a thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. Overall, Danielle and SpinSisters made our wedding day even more special, and we couldn’t recommend them more highly!

We hired the Spin Sisters as our DJ for our wedding. It was a long set commencing from 3pm until 1am and we asked Laura Harvey to take us on a musical journey throughout the years, to ensure the music differed from what was played during the wedding breakfast and evening reception. All I can say is WOW! Laura absolutely nailed it and was a huge hit with our guests. Laura was able to test tracks to see what kept the dance floor occupied and absolutely delivered!! Amazing experience with Spin Sisters - excellent organisation before the day and brilliant delivery on the day. We were given a choice of DJ for a birthday party, we picked Amanda and she was fantastic. Amanda took time to understand the event and the venue and was a massive hit with everyone on the night.
